WEB BUSINESSES OF INTEREST

In setting up these web pages, we needed to define the boundaries of types of home businesses on the Web to be addressed, and then provide the tools and resources that are involved. First, we decided to establish three basic types, namely:

adwords
Businesses based on receiving commissions by utilizing other company's ads on one’s website, such as Adsense, referring buyers to websites of other companies from emails, or from one’s own website. CONTINUE

These are businesses that develop websites or use auctions like Ebay or malls to sell products directly to buyers. The products can be from other persons or businesses or their own. CONTINUE

These businesses involve offering professional services for other companies. Included in this category are Mystery Shopping, doing inspections for real estate buyers and insurers or taxes, accounting, proof-reading, etc. This category will not be covered widely, but we will provide information on the inspection, taking surveys and Mystery Shopping jobs.CONTINUE

OUR SPECIFIC INFORMATION PROBES

Virtually all these businesses, when operated on the internet, involve setting up one or more web pages, sending emails, doing keyword optimization for web page placement on search engine searches, establishing links, marketing, building Maillists, etc. Some businesses require specific know-how, such as Adsensing, affiliating, Ebaying , etc. The mix of link buttons on the left side of this page collectively provide serious information on the tools (software, reports, etc.) and resources for all businesses.

OUR COMPENSATION

As stated above in our welcome statement, you won’t find any “Shopping Carts” to let you buy from our pages. We make some income from Adsense ads, the rest comes from being an affiliate with several companies referred to in our sub sections. In our reports we will tell you what we have learned and offer links for further in-depth learning and/or products. Among these referrals will be some that we are financially affiliated with. However, in many places, the companies listed among our referrals are NOT associated with us in any way. Rather than try to persuade you to visit only places where we might profit from, we list all we have found worthy for you to explore and decide for youself. Neutrality is important to our site because your trust is needed to bring you back as we expand our content.
